Featured

I had a nice surprise yesterday when I logged onto my Etsy account. I had been (or still am) featured on the Storque on Etsy! What an unexpected blessing that was. I suddenly received a hundred hearts and was wondering why...how cool is that?

I have been busy with life and haven't had as much time as I would like to devote to my store- but soon friends! Hopefully this summer I will be updating with some new items, so be on the lookout. I have had a couple requests for things that I plan to bring to the shop. I welcome and value feedback, so that I can better provide what you want!

yay for you... looking to be a stay at home mom- SOON and therefore started my Etsy store in last several months and hoping to retire from teaching early lol:)... good for you!

Hello and welcome to my blog! I started this blog to keep track of my experience at starting my own business....or my pursuit of it. For years I worked at different companies as a graphic designer, I even worked as a freelance designer at home. What have I learned? The most exciting thing I enjoy doing is creating. Be it in a company, or in my own home, if I'm not creating I'm not doing what I was created to do. Stumbling upon Etsy has opened new doors for me. It's allowed me to open my own store and create things that I alone love and find satisfaction in. I am many things in this life, many titles for many people. but one of the most important is an artist. I don't think it was by accident that God allowed me to find inspiration in colors, patterns, shapes and lighting. God is the Master of all artists and I feel honored that He would allow me a small vision of what He experiences all the time. My hope is that this is an encouragement to those out there pursuing their own dreams as well, be it a business run from home, a journey to start somewhere new, or if your just stopping by. Stay a while grab a glass of sweet tea and enjoy the stories. I hope it's a great journey for me...and for you as well.
